Guest Designing for Just Us Girls Challenge #328 - Wild Card Week

Hello my dear friends! It has been a wonderful month being a Guest designer for the awesome Just Us Girls Challenge .Every week in the month of January JUGs challenge blogs brought fabulous challenges that sparked my creativity and I so enjoyed creating with all the lovely ladies of JUGs :) Thank you sooooooo much JUGs for having me over, it was a fabulous one month.

The final challenge in January is for the Wild Card Week #328 - Tic-Tac-Toe which is being hosted by awesome Chris :)
For my card I picked the diecuts, stamps and flowers and here's what I created...
To make this card, I took a white card stock about 1/2 inch smaller in length than a regular A2 card and stamped along the upper edge with some flowers and leaves stamps (using Dee's Artsy Impressions - Frames and Flowers and Wplus9 Spring blooms) Then I die cut the sentiment friends (using SSS Friends die) and layered it 3 times. and stuck it over the stamped images :) I also stamped the second part of the sentiment (using Dee's Artsy Impressions - Friends and flowers ) right below the die cut sentiment. Finally I adhered this panel on a kraft card base and added some stitch lines to finish the card.

I hope you like it and will play along with us, HERE

To make this card, I took a water color card base and heat embossed the leaves and sentiment (using CFS - Casual Comfort) in gold embossing powder. Guest Designing for Just Us Girls Challenge #324 - Word Week

Hello my dear friends! I am super excited to be the Guest designer for the awesome Just Us Girls Challenge for the month of January 2016. Every week JUGs challenge blogs brings a unique challenge to spark your creativity. It is full of fun and creative inspiration. I want to thank the awesome team of JUGs for having me over :)

The very first challenge for the year 2016 is for the Word Week #324 - Thank you which is being hosted by awesome Nancy :)

For me Thank you cards and flowers usually go hand in hand, so I ended up creating a floral thank you card.
To make this card, I adhered a green patterned paper on the card base and I cut another wood grain patterned paper with one edge cut diagonally. This forms the upper dimensional layer of the card, where I also stamped the sentiment (using Fond Expressions - 2) Then I stamped the watering can with flowers image (from Dee's Artsy Impressions Friends & flowers set) colored with Prisma Color pencils and fuzzy cut it. To finish the card I adhered it all together and added some sequins.

That finishes my card! I hope you like it and will play along with us, HERE

CASEplorations Jan 2016 - Laura Bassen

Hi friends! Welcome back and wish you a very HAPPY NEW YEAR. Hope you had a creative 2015 and will continue to be even more creative in 2016. Afterall, this is what we want ;)

It's time for CASEplorations inspiration post at STAMPlorations. On the first of every month, the STAMPlorations girls share CASEs of some of our favorite cards - maybe even one of yours. Be sure to stop by the blog  for the very first installment of CASEd inspiration for 2016.  You can find more details HERE.

Our artist for the month of January is the queen of rainbow colors... Laura Bassen of Doublestick HeavenShe needs no introduction, we all love her style :) So let me show you her beautiful card (click HERE to see her original post) and my CASE...
I got inspired by the colors in Laura's card but instead of using embossing paste... I ended up using both dry and heat embossing, here is my card...
I started out by die cutting stitched edge panel of water color paper (using SSS Double stiched rectangle dies), then I heat embossed the rose with white embossing powder (using Blossom Overture). I water colored around the rose using Koi water colors. To finish it, I embossed the card base with cuttle bug embossing folder and I adhered it all on card base and stamped the sentiment (using Fond Expressions - 2 ) :)

Check out the amazing CASE creations by our team,HERE
