All I did was some stamping and masking to create the card design and then water coloring it.  Fun part to this design is that one of the snowman is in a fun mood :)  I am sharing this at Muse Christmas Visions - Marilyn Cotter ( inspired by the snowman in her adorable card); Christmas Crad Challenges #43 - Anything Goes! and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes!

The second showcases the use of patterned papers, here I made the gingerbread house the focal piece by showcasing it as an ornament :) I had so much fun making cards with this set. I am sharing this card at Can you Case it #88 Designer's Choice - Anything Goes!, Fab 'n' Funky #275 - Anything Christmas and Word Art Wednesday #203 - Anything Goes!

2015 Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!!

Hi Coffee Lovers!! I had to be a part of this awesome 2015 Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop for a few obvious reasons... one for the love of coffee, two I had to use a fun Paper Smooches - Cyber Cafe set which I won at the blog of the very amazing Shona Chambers of Twine Around in the last Coffee lovers hop :) (Thank you Shona) and three it's just amazing to see so many talented crafters joining in together and supporting our little creative community :)

Thank you Amy, Chaitali and Kimberly for making this hop such a hit :)
There is a ton of inspiration for all of us :) I will soon be hitting the hop and swoon over all the beauties :)

So here's my card...
To make this card, I took corrugated card stock (from DCWV) panel, Inked it lightly with some distress ink and added some embossing paste for some texturing. I have seen Shari Carroll doing this :) Then I stamped the coffee cup and fuzzy cut it, colored it lightly. Also stamped the leaves (using STAMPlorations Trendy Leaves) with some SSS hybrid inks cubes - Energy (Thank you to my sweet friend!!)
To finish the card, I adhered it all together with some hemp twine :)

I hope you like my card, thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment :)

To make this card,  I used my latest set Dee's Artsy Impressions - Chritmas Bell Medley and a lot of patterned paper for the design.
All I did was some die cutting to create a base panel and then stamping and cutting the images from the set using a variety of patterned paper. This was a fun card for me as I got to use some design paper that I recently started collecting to get over my fear of patterned paper LOL I hope you enjoyed this card too :) I am sharing this at Addicted to Stamps & more #163 - Holidays, Christmas Card challenges #43 - Anything Goes, 613 Avenue create #143 - Anything Goes!

CASEplorations #8 - Gail Tasker (Ionabunny)

Hi friends! I am back with my card for CASEplorations inspiration post at STAMPlorations. I was unable to join on the first of September due to some personal reasons but how can I miss CASEing the fabulous Ionabunny :) Gail I hope you will like my CASE. On the first of every month, the STAMPlorations girls share CASEs of some of our favorite cards - maybe even one of yours. Be sure to stop by the blog  for the eighth installment of CASEd inspiration.
CASEplorations will serve as a starting off point for our Inspiration Project Posts. We show you how we CASE a card so you can, in turn, CASE the inspiration cards we share throughout the month. You can find more details HERE.

Our artist for the month of August is none other than the very creative Gail or Ionabunny as we know her better. She is a frequent flyer at STAMPloration. Please visit her blog Crafty Nomad for more of her adorable creations. So let me show you her adorable tag (click HERE to see her original post) and my CASE...
It is obvious how I got inspired by Gail's card, here is my card.
To make this card, I took a panel and torn the edges to give it a distressed look, I cut out a window into this panel for my focal point. To further increase the distressing, I crumpled the panel and then inked it in Hero Arts Latte ink. I then stamped and fuzzy cut the flower from Blooming buds set and colored it with my markers in pink. To finish the card I stamped the sentiment and added some sequins. I am sharing this at Mixed Media Card challenge #15 - FriendshipHappy Little Stampers September CAS challenge - Coloringand Freshly made sketches #203

Guest Designer for Virginia's View Challenge - Geometric Patterns !!

Well the title says it all !! I am super excited to be guesting at Virginia's View Challenge. I am sure most of us a familiar with this challenge blog. After all it's one of our favorites :)

Virginia puts a lot of thought into bringing the best of the challenges, they definitely provoke the creative streak in me :) So when she asked if I was interested to Guest Design... I was like wahoooo!! Why not??!!??!!! The challenge is Geometric pattern, loved it :) There are a ton of dies and stamps  available in the market that can help you to create some amazing geometry. Unfortunately, I still have to stock them up ;) So I decided to work with what I had and I ended up creating two cards focusing on geometric patterns in two different ways :)

Here is a sneak peek into my cards...
Forthis card, I decided to create a geometric background on the card base using a combinations of Dies. Here in the card the geometry lies in the repetition of pattern and color.

For this card, I wanted to focus on the concept that geometry is all about random shapes and for that I decided to create a patterned paper panel by cutting patterned paper in various shapes and adhering them together. To embellish it I heat embossed the lotus on vellum and fuzzy cut it.
The stamp set used in my second card is "Lotus love" that I designed for my Stamp line "Dee's Artsy Impressions" which is being manufactured under the umbrella of STAMPlorations.

This is one on my favorite challenge and for that reason I thought wouldn't it be fun to add a GIVEAWAY :) I am giving away my Lotus love set to one lucky winner :)
For more details on the GIVEAWAY and my cards head over to Virginia's View Challenge blog.

Thank you so much Virginia for having me on board :) I hope I was able to inspire !!

Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me a comment. Don't forget to try your luck in winning my latest stamp set :)
