Guest Designing for The Alley Way Stamps - Day 4

Hello friends!! I am back with my Guest Designer post for The Alley Way Stamps for the month of November :) Today is the last day and I had so much fun playing with TAWS.  I love their sweet and cute stamps. I want to thank Alison and Chrissie for having me over :)

Today I have two cards to share with you and I created this using the Nap time. The idea focuses on using those sweet little images and putting them together to create a bigger image.

To make these cards, I drew some diagonal lines on a white card stock panel, I used some circle dies in white and pink/blue patterned paper to make the core of the flowers, then to make the petals, I used those tiny little images stamped and colored them. I again used the patterned paper to make the floral stem and leaves :)

Please visit TAWS blog :) and once again a big thank you to TAWS for having me over :)

Let me show you what I did with these amazing leaves. I had a blast creating my cards using all the stamps from this release. I have created two cards yet again. For my first card, I inked a panel in Distress Vintage photo and Mustard seed. I stamped and fuzzy cut one of the leaves in Yellow n brown shades of ink (Hero arts) On the card base I randomly stamped the leaves to build the BG, finally adhered it all together
In my second card, I stamped the leaves in various shades of green, I also fuzzy cut a couple of leaves to add dimension. Then I adhered a patterned paper panel on the lower half of the card with the foam adhesive. To finish the card I added some punched daisies.

Here are my creations... I was dying to use Neon Inks, some how this trendy City Girl goes perfectly with the Neons :) In my first card, I stamped and masked the city girl. I then inked the city stamp with two shades of Neon inks and did generation stamping to build the BG. I also used some Distress Floral Swirls to add more interest. Removed the mask colored the girl and adhered the sentiment.
For my second card, I did the same thing except I used Retro mod shapes and 4 shades on Neon Inks to build the BG. I also used Holiday Artsy for the rings and pencil eraser for small dots.

stmp1081.jpeg
Here is my creation... The quotes in this set are so inspiring, a must have collection :) I wanted to showcase both the desert and water on my card. To do that, I used crackle paste, colored it with some Distress Vintage photo to get the shade of sand. Partially inked the panel in blue to indicate water and applied the crackle paste. Once dried, I stamped the sentiment, hand drew some dried bushes. and splattered some water to react with blue :)

stmp1077.jpeg

And here's my project... I have made quite a few cards using this set and it is so fabulous that I ended up creating two :) My first card is more bold in colors. All I did was some random stamping of the single rosebud and coloring, sentiment was added on a circle with some gold twine behind it.
My second card is more soft and subtle. I stamped the rose bouquet, inked the background in Distress Antique linen and did a generation stamping of the definition stamp to build the BG, colored the roses with markers and to draw attention towards the focal image, I added a vellum oval die cut.
